Farmers in North Somerset are invited to attend a ForFarmers Forage Forum held near Langford, Somerset to discuss 'Maximising Milk from Forage' in co-operation with Alvis contracting.
The event, which takes place during a morning meeting, at The Langford Inn, Lower Langford, North Somerset on Thursday 15th February 2018, will bring together speakers from across the dairy industry.
Amongst the speakers will be Simon Preece from Pioneer, who will discuss what shredlage is and the facts about it. Keith Davis from Daniels Farm Glos and Lydney Park Estates was ForFarmers' forage finalist of 2017 and will discuss milk from forage and reaching the same goals from different systems. ForFarmers' Matthew Green will also discuss how better forage translates into more milk.
