This week ForFarmers says goodbye to current Harper Adams Placement Student, Emily Morgan, and welcomes Holly Fletcher-Smith as the 2020/21 student.

Emily has been working within the ForFarmers Pig Team for the last 13 months as part of her Industrial Placement year from Harper Adams University. As part of a varied placement she has gained experience in all aspects of the business and industry as well as driving a number of major projects for the business, producing excellent results.

8 months into her placement Corona Virus hit and like many Emily found herself working from home and in a role different to the one originally planned- establishing herself as a key member of the marketing team.

“Emily has made an outstanding contribution to the business during her placement year and has impressed everyone with her initiative, enthusiasm and excellent people skills” comments Craig Saunders, Pig Sales Director. “We are delighted to announce that after a successful placement Emily will return after her University education as a permanent member of the ForFarmers team. I’d like to thank Emily for her hard work and wish her luck as she enters her final year at Harper Adams.”

Craig comments: “We’ve had some exceptional students from Harper Adams University so we look forward to welcoming Holly to the business.”
