ForFarmers is proud to work in partnership with the British Free Range Egg and Producers Association (BFREPA) to deliver the BFREPA conference each year; a key event in the UK poultry calendar.

Unfortunately, due to COVID-19 the decision was made to cancel this year’s Free Range Awards Dinner and Conference, which was due to take place later this year, from 30 September to 1 October.

However, we can now confirm that the 2021 Awards Dinner and Conference, which celebrate the very best of the free range industry, will now take place on 29 and 30 September.

National Poultry Advisor, Andrew Fothergill comments: “We often use this as a platform to share our latest innovations and developments with UK free range producers. This year we had planned to share the recent findings on our Sustain diet, as part of the VITAFOCUS range, following further scientific trials throughout 2019. Too often, we see producers having to choose between longer laying hens, egg shell quality and egg size to meet the demands of processors and retailers, and reduce their seconds. But our Sustain diet, which sits as part of the VITAFOCUS range for laying hens, means producers really can ‘have it all’. We’re convinced by the results and customers who have built this into their laying feeding programmes are reaping the benefits.”

The ForFarmers team will be sharing the results of these trials across the layer industry, but if you’d like to hear more detail please get in a touch with a member of the team.
