The prestigious National Egg & Poultry Awards are just around the corner.

Following the success of last year’s virtual event in 2020, this year’s awards are set to return in person to honour and reflect the achievement, excellence and best practice in the UK poultry sector. ForFarmers is once again thrilled to be a sponsor of the awards, which are backed by the British Egg Industry (BEIC) and the British Poultry Council (BPC).

This year’s awards attracted a high standard of entries across the supply chain, including producers, packers, processors and vets and the virtual judging session was held earlier in the year. A tough job, but the finalists have been announced for each of the categories, including three finalists for the ForFarmers sponsored category: ‘Egg Producer of the Year’:

  • David Ashton Ltd
  • Corrie Mains Farm
  • Good Egg Fellas

The ‘Egg Producer of the Year’ award recognises those who have achieved a strong performance against KPIs, whilst maintaining a commitment to staff development and upholding a bio-secure unit. David Hilldrith, Poultry Sales Director at ForFarmers shares his congratulations to this year’s finalists: “We’re honoured to celebrate the amazing achievements made by all of the finalists. As a renowned event in the UK poultry industry, we’re proud to celebrate the very best our industry has to offer.”
