It’s not long now until the National Pig Awards 2023

ForFarmers is proud to once again support these annual awards which celebrate the very best of the British pig industry.

Craig Saunders, Pig & Poultry Commercial Director at ForFarmers comments: “The UK pig industry has seen some extraordinary challenges over the last year and at times like these it’s important that we take time to recognise the great work, innovation and dedication which takes place every day across the sector. The National Pig Awards are the perfect opportunity to do this and bring the whole sector together.”

The award categories celebrate roles and work across the industry including teams and individuals who have excelled in pig production, rearing, stockmanship, unit management, pedigree breeding, marketing innovation, and animal care.

On this year’s judging panel from ForFarmers was Key Account Manager Sian Southwell who said: “It has been great to be a part of the judging panel for the National Pig Awards 2023!

The quality of applications really showcased all the remarkable things that are happening within the industry. The dedication and passion of individuals and businesses to be a part of this innovative sector is incredible.
